Our Story

Hello, my name is Alastair McKinney and I have been breeding Australian Labradoodles in Scotland since 2006, when my family started Lomond Hills Labradoodles, which I led for many years. Along with my wife, Amy, I now breed both Australian Labradoodles and Bernedoodles, here at Forever Doodles in Central Scotland. Our mission is to bring joy to families around the world, one happy, healthy, well-adjusted puppy at a time!

 

Anyone can breed a litter of puppies, but running an ethical, purpose-driven breeding programme that produces excellent puppies is a combination of science, art, experience and intuition, not to mention a lot of hard work. Bringing life into the world is a responsibility that we are proud to take seriously. We consider ourselves to be dedicated professionals, and we only place our puppies in the very best family homes, and with other established breeders who are aligned with our ethics and values.

 

Although we are biased towards our Australian Labradoodles and Bernedoodles, we are dedicated to the health and care of all dogs, which led us to launching two related businesses: 

 

Our dog food brand, Paw, makes superfood for dogs with lots of fresh meat and healthy vegetables; no grain or nasties in sight!

Our Doodle grooming brand, The Doodle Brush, makes brushes, combs (and soon shampoo!) specifically designed for Labradoodles and other Poodle-crosses.
